Course Description
The qualification in the community services sector provides individuals with the skills and knowledge to work in various roles, such as senior personal care assistant, care assistant, residential support worker, and community access coordinator. The qualification includes core and elective competency units, with significant updates to reflect changed industry expectations.
Entry Requirements
- Be 18 yrs. or older
- Hold a minimum Yr. 12 Certificate (or equivalent in Kenya Form 4)
- Hold a CHC33015 Cert III (Ageing Support)
- Be competent in written & spoken English (IELTS 5.5 or equivalent),
- Have a working digital literacy and access to computers.
- Hold or be able to acquire a national police clearance, A DHS working with vulnerable people, disability clearance, Working with Children Certificate
- Evidence of Covid 19 vaccination or other health requirements the Australian government requires.
Core Requirements
Students must complete 13 Units of competency and 120 hours of work placement.
