Course Description
The CHC43115 – Certificate IV in Disability Support is a nationally recognised qualification in Australia that provides individuals with the skills and knowledge to work in the disability support sector. The qualification comprises core and elective units of competency that cover a range of areas such as communication strategies, community participation, legal and ethical compliance, mental health, and palliative care.
Entry Requirements
- Be 18 yrs or older
- Hold a minimum Yr. 12 Certificate (or equivalent in Kenya Form 4)
- Hold a CHC33015 Cert III (Ageing Support)
- Be competent in written & spoken English (IELTS 5.5 or equivalent),
- Have a working digital literacy and access to computers.
- Hold or be able to acquire a national police clearance, A DHS working with vulnerable people, disability clearance, Working with Children Certificate
- Evidence of Covid 19 vaccination or other health requirements the Australian government requires.
Core Requirements
Students must complete 14 Units of competency and 120 hours of work placement.
