Course Description

The Management of Actual or Potential Aggression (MAPA) course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage aggressive behaviour in various settings, including healthcare, education, and social services. The course covers topics such as understanding the causes and triggers of aggression, de-escalation techniques, prevention, and early intervention.

Participants will also learn how to create a safe environment for themselves and others while promoting positive behaviours and minimising the risks associated with aggressive actions. The MAPA course is designed for professionals who work with individuals who may exhibit aggressive behaviour, including but not limited to healthcare workers, social workers, educators, and security personnel.

Our short courses are conveniently blended with online courses and face-to-face (or practical classes) conducted over a day in our offices in Adelaide.
